Lithium Batteries Seminar
Tuesday 9th September 2025
Following BADGP鈥檚 webinar in April 2025, "Lithium Batteries - What you need to know", where we covered the basic information that anyone involved in the shipping/consigning of lithium batteries requires., we are now please to confirm the BADGP Lithium Battery Seminar will take place on Tuesday 9th September 2025 at the Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford on Avon CV37 0PY.
The content of the seminar will take the attendee further into the subject of lithium batteries with presentations from industry experts as to the issues facing companies in relation to transport, storage and recovery/recycling. The seminar will provide insight and information that is not contained within the dangerous goods transport codes. Subjects that are currently in the seminar鈥檚 agenda are:
- The problems with transporting EV cars by Sea
- The need for the Quality Assurance principles to be applied to lithium battery manufacturers
- How to use ADR to resolve the question of whether lithium batteries can stored in warehouses
- Dealing with lithium battery fires
- Recycling, disposal and recovery of waste lithium batteries
More presentations are currently being sourced to ensure that the seminar provides with all the relevant insight and information that you require.
As always with our topic specific seminar, BADGP will be producing a printed guide that covers the subject and covers more areas than the time of the seminar will allow. The printed version of this guide will be available to all attendees, an electronic version of the guide may be provided to BADGP members at a later date therefore registration and attendance at the seminar is a must for any DG professional or industry professional who needs to know more than just the basics of the DG transport codes.
Interest in this seminar is expected to be high, so we recommend registering as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION
Places are restricted in number and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is advisable if you wish to guarantee a place.
NOTE: Once booked the full fee is payable (in advance of the day) and cancellations are not possible, but substitutions will be permitted (subject to appropriate payment)
However BADGP reserves to cancel for any reason outside our control 鈥 in which case full refunds will be made.
